MotoCMS Birthday: How It All Began
When Demetrio Fortman, the founder of MotoCMS, in 2008 came up with the idea of creating templates with the built-in admin panel, hardly anyone would believe that this project will last for long. FLASH was everywhere for the first two or three years, but after the historical claim from Steve Jobs that they discard FLASH, everything became so tricky.
MotoCMS turned to HTML templates creation. But Demetrio was plagued with the idea of creating something unique. And thus MotoCMS 3 was born.
MotoCMS today is a handy website builder with tons of eye-candy templates and revolutionary admin panel with blocks. It gives an opportunity for everyone – from an amateur-photographer to a business owner – creating the website of their dreams and building a strong community around it.
Demetrio Fortman: A Man Behind MotoCMS
Demetrio Fortman started his way into the web industry as a developer. But his persistent energy and wit propelled him and inspired him to strive for more. He always believed that everyone should do what they are passionate about. That’s why each of his projects – MotoPress, MotoCMS, Defroso – reflected his interest in different spheres of life and Web.
