Facebook moto cms installation instruction

To use a Facebook template with the new standard from Facebook (iframes), please follow the instruction below:

Step 1

Log in to your Facebook account (you only need a regular Facebook account, anyone is eligible to create Facebook pages).



Step 2

1. When logged in, create a Page (you may either follow the URL : http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php or press "Create a page for my business" on any other Facebook brand page).



2. Choose the page type:



3. Fill in the necessary fields.

Unzip the Facebook template archive you have purchased from us and upload the contents of the "site_flash" folder to your hosting.

Step 4

For further steps, you will have to create a Facebook application. The process is very easy.
    
1. Verify your account - http://www.facebook.com/developers/apps.php
Click on "Set Up New App". You will be offered to your account (if you already passed the verification procedure before, you may skip it).
    


      
 This is performed by entering a code sent to your cell phone via SMS or by verifying your credit card.     

2. Create a new Facebook application.

3. Configure the newly created application.



In the Canvas section type in the application name (canvas page) and the path where your index.html files leads to (Canvas URL). Also, choose the "Auto-resize" option in iFrame size.



In the Page Tabs section specify a name you want to appear for the tab, and in the tab URL field type the index.html, that is where your page content is. Also, make sure you have iFrame chosen as a Page Tab type.



4. Assign this new application to your Facebook page - press the "Add to my page" button on the app profile page.

If the tab doesn't appear on your Facebook page, please go to the page settings (the "Edit" link at the top), then go to "Apps", locate your application and click "Edit settings". Make sure you have the status "Added" there, if not - click the "add" link in the settings popup.



5. Make sure of the correct app page display. If the tab doesn't display on your Facebook page, please go to the "Edit Info" page in the new App settings, and in the "App" settings find your new app. Click on the "Change Settings" button. Make sure the status has been changed to "added", if not — click on the link "Add" in the pop-up settings.

Now it's time to edit the template and add the content. Follow http://yourwebsite.com/admin/ to get an access to the control panel (if you get the access for the first time, you will be asked to activate it).

Activate your product on http://accounts.cms-guide.com/ (Your account details will be sent to your e-mail after you have purchased Moto CMS), and refresh your browser page.

Please note that only the Facebook Flash CMS Templates can be published on Facebook pages. The regular Moto CMS templates don't have such an option.
