New MotoCMS 3.0.8 Update: Features and Tricks

It’s the end of month and that means that we’re ready to announce the next updates for MotoCMS admin panel. There is not a lot of features we get with this release but they are aimed at improving the user experience along with the addition of some cool SEO options.

One of the best gimmicks of MotoCMS 3.0.8 update is the improvement of Social Buttons widget that now offers a whole range of Share and Like options for your website pages. It includes like/share buttons for the most popular social networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+. Calculator next to each button shows the number of shares to each network.

Moto CMS extends SEO options for its users. And makes them easier to use. Thus, you can set the alt-attribute for an image right in Media Library and it will stick up to this image when you use it for Grid Galleries, Sliders or Carousels.

More great news is waiting for you in the design section. Now it allows to customize all widgets that have presets. You just choose a Widget tab in the design section, select a widget that you wish to tweak – and voila! Customize any preset you need and all changes will appear across the entire website, provided you use the selected preset on it.

Another improvement concerns the UX of the admin panel. From now you can arrange the widgets on the left panel the way you like. You can fold up any section with widgets that you don’t need this particular moment. And your settings will stay after you leave your page.

More improvements include:

• The opportunity to filter elements not just in Media Library, but in its popup window too;
• Addition of Reset Password Letter design for better connection to visitors.
